Linux System Administrator (Geek)

Job description

Are you familiar with names such as Kubernetes, Prometheus or Open Stack? If so, then we are looking for you :)

As a system administrator, you will design, install, configure and manage our customers' comprehensive infrastructure systems. You will help developers design their applications to ensure their systems are powerful and highly available. Come and join our team, diagnose an interesting problem and document the solution thoroughly. Be detail-oriented to not miss any client’s request.

Job description:

Installation and administration of complex server solutions including infrastructure
Preparation and maintenance of documentation
Participation in the planning and design of solutions according to the customers' needs
Work on new projects, collaboration on solution design up to the implementation stage
Diagnostics of possible problems
Addressing complex and comprehensive technical issues
Technical consultations with customers
Hotline and e-mail 2nd level support for our customers

Requirements

Long-term experience with UNIX-like systems (Red Hat Linux, Solaris, BSD)
Experience with administration of server services
Understanding of security principles
Enthusiasm to learn new network and system technologies
Experience with supervisory systems and the principles of their operation
Ability to focus on details while at the same time carefully getting customer requirements
Professionalism, ability to work in a team

Remuneration for your help:

EUR 2000 + (depending on experience)
